Kareena Kapoor Khan is one of the most sought-after actresses of her generation in the Hindi entertainment industry. Over the years, she has become an inspiration for working mothers as she openly talks about her motherhood experiences. Detailing the same, in 2021, after the birth of her second son Jehangir Ali Khan, she penned a book titled, ‘Kareena Kapoor Khan's Pregnancy Bible.’ She expressed how the book is a personal account of what she has experienced physically and emotionally during her pregnancies. However, it seems like the title of the book has yet again caused trouble for her.
As reported by the Free Press Journal, a notice has been sent to the 43-year-old actress because the title of the book has ‘Bible’ in it. The media publication reports that an advocate approached the court against the use of the word ‘Bible’ in the title. The court has sought an answer about the same from the Jaane Jaan actress. The court has also reportedly issued notices to the sellers of the book after advocate Christopher Anthony demanded a ban on the sale of Kareena’s book. Through his petition, the advocate has claimed the actress using ‘Bible’ in the title of her pregnancy book has hurt the sentiments of the Christian community. He maintained that it was wrong to compare pregnancy and ‘Bible’. This is not the first time someone has raised a similar concern regarding the book’s title. A Christian group, in 2021, had taken an objection to the book titled and filed a complaint with the officials in Beed, Maharashtra. The complaint was filed against Kapoor and two others for hurting religious sentiments. It is to be noted, that Kareena’s team is yet to respond to the notice. For the unversed, Kareena tied the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan in 2012. They welcomed two adorable sons Taimur Ali Khan (2016) and Jehangir Ali Khan (2021). Apart from them, Saif has a daughter Sara Ali Khan, and son Ibrahim Ali Khan from his first marriage with actress Amrita Singh. The actress has made it her mission to be as involved in her kids’ lives as possible and often takes to social media to share glimpses of the same on her official handle.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan was last seen in Crew, alongside Tabu and Kriti Sanon. She has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Hansal Mehta’s The Buckingham Murders in her pipeline.
